The Sponsors Who Make Healthy Possible
We are so grateful for the following sponsors, who support us financially and share our mission to build a healthy northern New Jersey community for tomorrow.
We are proud to work with the following partners. Together, our efforts represent important and effective connections that allow us to uncover and fulfill the needs of our community.
Today, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey distributes 44 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,000 nonprofit programs, as well as more than 400 programs served by its partner distribution organizations (PDOs). More than 4.7 million times a year, someone in need is fed by Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s network of partner charities. A designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest network of food banks, as well as the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks.
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence. At Summit Medical Group Foundation, we work extensively with the Paterson and Passaic branches of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Victor Cruz started the Victor Cruz Foundation in 2012. After taking a very slow approach to make sure he created a charitable foundation that would have a valuable impact, Victor knew exactly which direction to take after a visit to the White House Science Fair. There, he toured the showcase of science projects with President Barack Obama and fell in love with the idea and importance of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education.
